Oakmere Caravan Park was established in 1997, the fishery a few years earlier. Created and run by the Patrick family, the park has grown over the years yet still has a number of residents who have stayed from the first day of opening. The caravan park is within the land of Skipwith nature reserve a beautiful, leafy setting filled with wildlife and peaceful scenery. As part of a working arable farm the adjacent fields offer a safe environment for children and animals to explore nature and run off some energy.

Tony and Megan Patrick and their family now run the site and are available throughout the season to ensure your stay is a safe and enjoyable one. Book now.

The Fishing lakes cover approximately eight acres and consist of three lakes offering mixed coarse fishing. Open to day tickets and residents there are fishing opportunities for all abilities. Supervised children are welcome. There are accessible pegs for those with mobility difficulties. Toilets are available on site. Our lake steward is available between dawn and dusk to take payment and offer any support or advice that may be required.

The amenities block on the park includes individual shower rooms with wash hand basins and toilet facilities. Separate gents and ladies toilets and a baby changing station. There is a chemical waste disposal point and a kitchen with washing up facilities, a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer for the use of residents. We have a large recycling centre to encourage thoughtful disposal of waste.
